The secret is… that there is no secret!
A lot of websites out there try and make you believe that there is a hidden method that no one knows about to instantly gain huge muscles or achieve all your fitness dreams.
That is not true, don’t buy into the lies. Here’s all you need to know- share this to all the beginners out there:
Consistency is key – this is the most important aspect! It doesn’t matter what you do, as long as you keep doing it. If you work out 3 to 4 days a week, there is no way you will still be the same this time next year, just keep on track.
Build muscle 101:
Eat enough food, lift weights- pretty simple, let’s break this down, first of all, the basic workouts you should be doing: Bench press, deadlift, squats, and overhead press.
With these compound movements, you will grow significantly! Sure add in things like bicep curls to target arms more effectively etc. but as a beginner you only need these compound movements to grow!
Make sure they are a part of your routine. And that’s it, if you can do each of those movements every week after a few months you will see big results. No secrets.
Lose weight 101:
It’s very simple, you need to be burning more calories than you consume, so eat healthier/less and workout more!
It’s all very easy to understand, sure as you advance there will be new methods and techniques you want to implement in your work out to get better results, but that’s the idea of it.
Just be consistent!
