Stress, Tiredness and FatigueOn by
Stress comes in a whole lot of ways but the effects are always the same- devastating. Just for the record, there are three types of stress and the bad one in distress.
This is the kind of stress that does not allow you to do anything at all. It often comes when you have so much on your plate and you are wondering where to start solving your issues. Stress can be good but when you let it get out of hand then it can potentially destroy you.
Stress and Your Health
People have different abilities and methods of coping with stress. There are some who react severely to what others might consider being just a bit of stress.
One of the most common problems that people face, whenever stress gets out of control, is fatigue and mind-splitting headaches. Some people use fatigue and tiredness interchangeably while in fact, one is just a magnification of another.
It is one thing to be tired but another totally different thing when you are fatigued. When you are tired, at least you can think and do a few things.
However, fatigue can see you land a spot in a hospital bed. For starters, it affects digestion and thus stomachaches and indigestion issues are not uncommon when a person is fatigued.
Another common problem that comes with excessive tiredness is the running nose and headaches. Your immunity is lowered by fatigue. As such common colds and some other conditions are bound to attack your body.
Sometimes, when people are too stressed up they are bound to forget to take care of themselves. This means that they forget to eat properly and even dress properly to fit the weather requirements.
Aching joints are not uncommon either. People overwork themselves and they end up developing aches and pains in various parts of their bodies.
The most common joints that people complain about are the knees, lower back, and heels. There are some who might complain of pain on the lower part of the neck.
How to Reduce Stress
Reducing stress is not really possible but coping with it is. All that you will have to do is teach yourself to deal with it as it comes. Procrastination makes is harder to handle the issues that cause your stress.
Also, you should not allow work to accumulate to the point that you become overwhelmed. Being a workaholic is just another way of getting yourself stressed up. Take time to relax, get an abundance of sleep before getting back to work.
